Introduction

Due to the liberalization and globalization of Indian economy, human resource development assumes an important theme in our technical planning. We have faced twin challenges, one side there is competitive pressure of Quality, reduced cycle time, developing & sustaining new markets, and other side there is less government intervention. Technical manpower will have to meet these challenges effectively. This necessitated collaboration between the technical education Institution and the Industry in programme design, effective syllabus planning, their effective implementation and correct evaluation.

 

Proposal of Consulting services to Industries under IIPC at CSIT

Employee training and development is fundamental to building learning and innovative organization that contributes to excellence in the services. Each of us has a personal responsibility for our on-going learning in  this knowledge-based workplace. There are two broad types of training and development programs in any organization: Corporate and personal development. Corporate training and development means those programs universally required by employees across the organization. Personal training and development means those programs required by employees in a specific domain for the competency development. Basic Computer training

What IIPC Expects From Industries

Technical trainings to students by industries: Rapid growth of industrial development in India recently has increased chances of job market to engineering students. In order to keep up with the demands, engineering institute should hold responsibility to produce students with sufficient background and excellent qualification. As an assurance for the performance of students is up to the standards, preparation and exposure to the industrial training is a must in the programme. So we expect from our industrial partners that they will provide enough opportunities to our students for the same.
Industry visits for our students: Industrial visits are very important for every management student as it provides as clear picture to the engineers in the making who have the zeal for a bright future. Industrial visits provide vital information about the organization, its performances and various functioning process of the organization. It also enables to understand the internal working environment. As organizational behavior is a part of the administration, it is necessary for a engineer to understand and get accustomed to the atmosphere ofthe organization.
Industrial projects for students: Industrial projects are the vital part of IIPC activities. Some selected students by the cell (IIPC) will get an opportunity to work with industries for a short period of time. This work will lead to develop a project work under the guidance of experts at industries and the institute. Industry Project involves the completion of a substantial project on a technical or management 'problem', which requires students to draw broadly on the skills and knowledge they have acquired during their training in industries.
Guest lectures by experts from industry: The industries require the best talent and the institute should provide it. In the present, curriculum of technicai Education there is a gap existing between the institutes and the industries. Guest lectures are the best way for minimizing this gap by acting as a bridge between them. As the physical presence of experts from industry provide a forum for open discussion to the students, so IIPC welcomes such experts to share their real time work experience with students.
