Today, opportunities to benefit society through engineering advancements are unparalleled in history. CSIT pushes the frontiers of modern science and engineering through teaching and research. With this perspective in mind, eminent Academicians, Educationalists, Administrators, & enthusiastic people of Chhattisgarh have initiated the formation of a society under the aegis of Shivnath Shikshan & Seva Samiti, registered under the provision of the statute 44, of M.P. Vishwavidhyalaya Adhinium 1973 & CSIT was thus established at Durg with the following aims:-

• The over all development of C.G. & M.P. in the fields of Education, Economy & Social Up gradation.
• Development of rural technology, Infrastructure & Conservation of Environment.
• Deliver world-class, research-based education to students, and broad-based training to leaders in academia, industry, and society.
• Facilitate technology transfer, applying people and ideas to improve our society and our world.
• To expand the base of engineering knowledge through original research and by developing technology to serve the needs of society
